In this first class, Dr. Bill discusses the mission of New Hope (and his own personal "Life Verse" from the Bible): "We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.  We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God" (2 Corinthians 5:20, NIV).  Our passion at New Hope is to care for hurting people in a way that shines light on their needs and God’s care, is salty to elicit their thirst to drink God’s living water and walk in his ways, and hands them keys to make positive changes in God’s power.  Just as God has come to comfort and guide us in Christ and in the Body of Christ so we offer our care to others.  And when God’s love overflows through us to others what joy is ours!
