God
Never Quits On You!

Felix
Mendelssohn wrote the classic anthem, "A Still, Small Voice", that
was sung so brilliantly and beautifully by our choir this morning.
He wrote it after reading from the 19th Chapter of I Kings. In this
text, Elijah was depressed. He cried to God, "Take away my life!"
Fearful of being killed by Jezebel, Elijah flees into hiding. And
then, a message from the Lord comes to Him, but not in the manner
he expected. The text reads: |
